We normally don’t think of using just avocado for a smoothie… but paired with raw honey, it’s a wonderful, mild, creamy drink! Great backdrop for vanilla or chocolate… make a quick, all-natural shake!
And just a couple plain carrots for a smoothie…? Who knew? Better than any kind of vegetable juice you could buy at the store… and tastes truly fruity!

Recipe for: Avocado Mono-Smoothie
- flesh from 1 avocado
- 2-3 heaping tablespoons
- dash quality natural salt, such as Himalayan Crystal salt
- spring water to 32 oz.
- 1-2 cups ice
Blend everything until smooth.
(I add a dash of salt because this smoothie is so creamy and mild, it needs just a tish of zest! For variation, add a teaspoon of vanilla or a couple tablespoons of raw cacao powder!)
Recipe for: Carrot Mono-Smoothie
- 1 cup raw carrot coins (about 2 carrots… I used organic and left the skins on)
- 2 heaping tablespoons raw honey
- spring water to 32 oz.
- 1-2 cups ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
